I have recently arrived in Colorado to pursue an MA in religious studies, centered perhaps in the Jewish studies programme. I play saxophone (if my instrument wasn't on another continent), and am learning electric guitar, write poetry... was politicized by feminism and Marxism in the late 70s and early eighties...this centrally includes the experience of discussion, collectivity, invigorating conflict. I feel that much in the past is not yet past, is a resource - have arrived from Jerusalem where I have been living for 16 years, editing and translating.
