- Social Science Librarian
- Auraria Library, University of Colorado Denver
Since 1990 I have served as a social science librarian at the Auraria Library, which serves the University of Colorado Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and the Community College of Denver. I am responsible for developing & managing library collections in 9 social science disciplines. Academic background: BA, Sociology/Social Sciences, Hastings College, 1976; MA, American Studies, University of Hawaii at Manoa, 1980; MLIM, University of Denver, 1981. Married for 28 years, with one son in college. I have been active at national and local levels in REFORMA (National Association to Promote Library & Information Services to Latinos and the Spanish Speaking) since 1982. I enjoy playing hockey, riding my bike, and volunteering with the Denver-based Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps in my spare time.
